ValueBase

ValueBase

ValueBase

Two values initiatives:

ValueBase Online Assessment

Values-Based Organization (VBO) Workshop

ValueBase Online Assessment

Why Values Matter

Your values and guiding principles sit at the core of your belief system. Your ValueBase—the collection of your values in action—shows up in your behavior, your attitudes, your relationships, and the goals you set for yourself.

These values are shaped over a lifetime through family, peers, organizations, logic, emotion, and lived experience. They evolve, and they can be influenced by current circumstances. That makes revisiting and clarifying them essential—especially in the workplace, where you invest so much of your time and talent.

What Do You Value Most?

When was the last time you clearly identified what matters most to you?

What kind of environment deserves your best thinking, effort, and energy?

The purpose of the online ValueBase assessment is to:

  • Help you clarify your values so you can make career decisions that are consistent with who you really are and your own priorities.
  • Assist you to identify and better understand what is important to other people in your organization.
  • Introduce principles you can use to facilitate a value clarification discussion within your family, friends, peers, team, department, and organization.
  • Provide you with a foundation to identify and resolve any mismatch between your values and your work environment.

Values-Based Organization (VBO) Workshop

There is significant interest and research in the benefits of value-based organizations. A comprehensive study by HOW Report found that VBO:

  • Lead the market in innovation, productivity, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction.
  • Employees are more authentic and truthful in information sharing.
  • Have high resiliency and operational efficiency.
  • More willing to take risks that benefit the company.

Yet the challenge is significant. Organizations need help starting a values-based initiative. RGi's highly interactive workshop presents a framework with guidelines, strategies, practices, tools, and models to draw upon to implement values in the organization. It is the alignment of employees’ personal, team, and organizational values.

The Values-Based Organization Workshop Series–Three components

Facilitator Guide is a 60-page manual for facilitating workshops. It includes an introduction, objectives, script ideas, instructions, research, and quotes to assist you in introducing the topics, their concepts, activities, and their applications for delivering the values’ initiative.

The Participant Guide introduces the VBO initiative’s concept, objective, topics, activities, and applications. The interactive activities and discussions foster self-awareness and offer valuable improvement in action steps.

The Visuals are colored slides that provide visual context and are integral to the learning experience. The visuals are a valuable resource designed to support various learning styles, and enhance comprehension, foster engagement, and improve understanding.
